Rev. Virginia Jarocha-Ernst, Minister
Summer is here, and along with it, a chance for me to slow down and reflect. I am looking forward to time to read and just watch the world go by. Usually, UU ministers are granted four weeks of study leave each year to do this. And I am so grateful. It is during these slower times that I find it possible to generate new ideas. My sermon list grows and starts to fill in next year’s Sundays. I also enjoy hearing what is on your mind and what topics you would like to hear about in next year's sermons. Please do send them along to
I’m on call for pastoral emergencies during study leave, June 26-July 14 and August 20-September 3. I am also taking vacation from July 15-August 4. During this time, Rev. Rosemarie Newberry will be available for pastoral care and can be reached at 732-331-9463.
Our summer services and religious education look wonderfully diverse and interesting, and I hope to see you all there!
“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” ~ Henry James
Be well and enjoy your summer afternoons,
P.S. Make sure you register for a Covenant Circle for the fall!
