Gender – Part 3: “Ah…you” |
Sunday Service, February 12, 2012 at 10:30amRev. Virginia Jarocha-ErnstThis will be the third in a three-part sermon series on the topic of gender: "Ah...men", "Ah...women" and "Ah...you". The concept of gender identity is very basic to how we experience the world. It has long been assumed to be a fixed aspect of a person's life. New research tells us that male and female are points on a continuum. In this series, we will talk about and celebrate all that we know about gender. Music by “Free to Be You and Me,” Elaine Held, and Louise Chernosky |

Ellen has for 30 years served UU congregations in MA, NJ, and MD, and has been Exec. Dir. of UUs for Social Justice in the National Capital Region, organizing workshops and facilitating cooperation and sharing of best practices on issues like healthcare, immigration, LGBTQ, climate and environmental concerns, and the increasing wealth divide in this country with its corruption of the democratic process.
