Share the Plate is a congregational outreach program that supports non-profit organizations that benefit our community and world and express our Unitarian Universalist values. Together, the Social Action Committee and the congregation select ten charities, one for each month from September through June. Half of the contributions to the collection plate go to support our congregation, the other half to the Share the Plate recipient for that month. Two years ago our Share-the-Plate charities received more than $8,500; last year they received more than $9,100.
