Guest minister Rev. Gil Caldwell and UUCMC's minister Rev. Virginia Jarocha-Ernst, at UUCMC's Sunday service on August 23, led a time of reflection and discussion on what we have learned about ourselves and our nation so far during the historic presidency of our first African-American president.

Rev. Gil Caldwell, a retired United Methodist minister, has graced our pulpit on several occasions. Rev. Caldwell has stood up for justice for all people all his life, including working with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and co-founding the Reconciling Congregation movement more recently in his own denomination.
