The Adult Religious Education Committee (Adult REC) is taking a new and exciting approach to adult enrichment at UUCMC. Beginning in March we will roll out Fellowship Fridays, offering all ages a time to build community and nurture spiritual and intellectual growth. Participants will also have an opportunity to break bread together during a catered meal. Following dinner we will offer a brief lay-led worship service, including story and song for all ages. This is a big undertaking that has great potential.

Fellowship Fridays will offer five classes to choose from that are sure not to disappoint. (See the article under “Upcoming Events� and the brochure to be available by Feb. 1.) Programming will be available for children under the age of 12; youth are encouraged to join a class. So come on out and make it a family event! Can’t come all four weeks? That’s okay, the program has a lot of flexibility.

I look forward to this new opportunity for fellowship for many reasons, though I am most excited to get to know many of you better. I can’t wait!
