We welcome you and your children to the Religious Education program here
at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County (UUCMC).
We invite your family to participate in the many activities we have to
offer. Our program is open to everyone, regardless of religious
background or present beliefs. Here at UUCMC we strive to create an
atmosphere that respects and values individual differences. We learn
from one another and are enriched by the variety of religious and
cultural experiences we share together.
The Religious Education program (RE), described in our prospectus, offers an engaging variety of learning experiences for each grade level, appropriate to the children's developmental needs and abilities, grounded in our Unitarian Universalist principles.
RE for children is offered from 10:30 to 11:45 am on Sundays from mid-September to early June, concurrent with the congregational worship service. Children attend the first 15 minutes of the Sunday Service with their families. When it is time to go to class, the teachers and children leave together. There are classes for each age and grade, ages 3 through 14. Supervised childcare is available for infants and toddlers. We also offer programs for youth, 6th through 12th grades.
Please see the section on Youth or Way Cool Sunday School for details.
