Covenant Groups If you are interested in connecting with others and the "Big Questions" (the Intimate and the Ultimate), a Covenant Group is for you. Monday Night Men's’ Group -- Mondays, 7:30pm The Monday Night Men’s Group is a self-directed, confidential, weekly gathering of men for the purposes of fellowship, discussion, conversation, and respite from the normal routine via music, writing, dining out, and other activities. We provide a high level of support, by providing a confidential venue for airing issues and active participation in problem solving. Members typically see fit to sustain their commitments over a period of years. ZEN -- Wednesdays, 7pm The Lincroft Zen Sangha is a member of the Zen Peacemaker Sangha (http://www.lincroftzen.org/), an interfaith community committed to actualizing the interconnectedness of life through social actions informed by the practice of zen. We meet every Wednesday at 7pm. Everyone is welcome. Please come at 6:30pm for meditation instruction. The group is led by Sensei Merle Kodo Boyd. Tai Chi for Beginners, Mondays, 6:15pm This class will help recognize the "qi" in our bodies. We will learn the practice called "nanlaoshu" or "the art of how to grow old." This practice will enable us to strengthen and straighten our bodies, increase flexibility and improve our general health and well-being. Mondays, 6:15pm in the Community Room. Seniors Lunch Group -- September 24th , noon The next meeting of the seniors lunch group will be on Wednesday, September 24, at 12 noon. We'll Keep you in Stitches -- September 25th , 10am To reflect our interest in needlecraft projects beyond knitting and in addition to the Shawl Ministry, we will soon be changing our name. We invite you to our next meeting on Thursday, September 25 (note the change in day) at 10am in the East Room. Bring your ideas for a new name along with your current hand stitching project.
A New Earth -- Beginning October 16th A ten-week class on Eckhart Tolle's book "A New Earth" will be presented beginning on Thursday, October 16.
