Adult Faith Development
We believe in the power of lifelong learning. Our Adult Faith Development (FD) program at UUCMC seeks to inspire our members and friends to pursue personal growth through a variety of activities that includes opportunities for social, spiritual and intellectual growth. We aim to offer a variety of programming, single-session and multi-session courses, from social events to theological events, with day and evening offerings.
Program listings are published several times each year. Additions to the programs are continuously added to the UUCMC calendar, the weekly eblast, and in flyers in the Main Lobby. To register for a program, please refer to the instructions for each program; individual offerings have different registration procedures.
Seasonally, we offer a Common Read which invites participants to read and discuss the same book in a given period of time. Check out our UUCMC Common Read!
The Long Strange Trip Unitarian Universalist Film Series
Led by Rev. Virginia Jarocha-Ernst and Michelle McKenzie-Creech
Long Strange Trip is a six-part video series by Ron Cordes that explores the history of Unitarian and Universalist thought and practice from the early, liberal strands in faith at the beginning of the Christian era to what we know today as Unitarian Universalism. Each session of this series includes the showing of a one-hour video followed by discussion.
The sessions will take place every Wednesday, 7-8:30pm from February 6th through March 13th. We need a
minimum of six sign-ups to run the series! SIGN UP HERE to let us know you’re coming!
