Lifespan Family Ministry & Faith Development

At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County, we believe that religious education and faith development is a lifelong journey. Our congregation’s faith development ministry is not only defined by what is studied in the classroom but by all the other accompanying experiences as well. At The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County, the whole congregation teaches and learns throughout the experiences of:

  • worship
  • community
  • service and social justice
  • witness and advocacy
  • pedagogy (study)

Faith Development is a lifelong journey that we take together; it happens within and beyond the walls of our community. We support one another as individuals, families, and communities in an ongoing search for truth and meaning. We strive to guide one another—all ages among us—in religious questioning, personal change, and discovering ways to better live in faith.

We are a community that believes strongly in the power of multigenerational togetherness. In this spirit, we offer many opportunities for people to engage together across the ages as well as age-specific courses and workshops.
